This video clip helped me to think of ideas of how to use technology in the classroom and now I am now able to answer the following question:
Why do we need to implement Ict’s in today’s classroom to improve learning?
INSPIRE – Students can be encouraged to embrace change and look at a variety of ways to find an answer. This encourage student’s to use the skills they currently have using something they are familiar with and enjoy.
CHALLENGE- Another reason is to challenge students to a new level of being, doing and thinking. They can learn to be critical, analyse and decipher through huge amount of apps and information and decide what suits the context best.
EQUIP- let’s equip our students to make creative and wise choices so they will become competitive as they enter the workforce that is surrounded and reliant on competent use of technology.
